The Paris trade shows Atmosphere's and The Box, Oct. 2-5, posted higher attendance figures for their sophomore runs. Atmosphere´s welcomed 8,455 buyers, or a 4% increase of visitors over its inaugural session in March. The number of international visitors also increased, accounting for 70% of visitors, while the French accounted for 30% of the overall number. Atmosphere´s is one of the leading international fashion trade shows for designers who have already attracted attention in their own countries and are offering a new direction in fashion; the Tuileries tent on two floors served as a nice platform for 150 brands from 20 different countries to exhibit their new products. The Box, the trade show for fashion accessories and accessory designers, meanwhile, welcomed 3,358 buyers, or a 6% increase over the previous edition. 62% were international and 38% French. The Box offered another point of view for accessories at the Pavillon Cambon, the luxury showcase of the salon, with its cutting-edge selection, avant-garde vision of trends and unique concept. Overall, the top five visiting countries to both Atmosphere´s and The Box came from Japan, Italy, Spain, the UK and US.
