Alexander McQueen ( has become the latest in a string of London’s biggest designers to be targeted by thieves. It seems that the fashion maverick’s office in East London was robbed of some of it's computers as well as handbag samples from the McQueen Autumn Winter 08 collection.

The theft follows as officers at Scotland Yard recently arrested a group for allegedly being responsible for previous similar cases. An apparently highly organized gang have been targeting the stores and offices of high-end design houses around the city for their valuable wares.

Just before last September’s London Fashion Week, Christopher Kane had his entire Spring Summer 2009 collection stolen, whilst FrostFrench, Marc Jacobs, Anya Hindmarch and Luella Bartley were also all victims last year.
