Adidas Originals and Faces & Laces, the trade show, have launched a new interactive joint project called 60DETAILS dedicated to Adidas' iconic sneakers (ZX, Forum, Stan Smith, Superstar, Samba, Nizza) and the special subcultural visual communication that has sprung up in Russia in the last years. The exclusive launch event took place on Sept. 25 in Moscow. Twenty modified 2D art-objects made by Russian graffiti-artists and designers using various techniques were unveiled at the event. Six main headliners, including Protey Temen (graphic designer), Gosha Rubchinsky (men’s apparel designer) and Edick Katykhin (illustrator), also presented their works of art featuring the Adidas Originals logo created on a base of 3D objects by Faces & Laces studio. The 60DETAILS project includes a three-week showcase of 20 modified objects on Moscow’s streets following the main exhibition. Sneakers with LEDs will be mounted on to the fronts of buildings and in landmark sub-cultural venues. 60DETAILS is the first collaboration project of Adidas Originals and Faces & Laces, the founders of one of the most interesting and promising trade shows in Russia in the sphere of young fashion and subculture, now three editions old. The project’s main goal is to share views of progressive Russian art circles that are interested in innovations in fashion, graphic design and contemporary art combined with unique content and the long history of Adidas.
