1921 Jeans has joined the fight against global warming.

In celebration of Earth Day 2009, the premium denim brand will partner with the American Forests’ Global Releaf program to plant a tree for every pair of 1921 Jeans purchased in the US between April 15 and May 15, 2009. The idea is that planting trees will help cool our planet and give the gift of life for future generations.

“If you are not willing to be part of the solution you are part of the problem,” says Michael Silver, President of 1921 Jeans. “Every small effort counts in this fight and ultimately it will be the sum of the collective efforts which win the battle.”

This fall will also the launch of a green line. Impressions by 1921 is a collection of 100% organic T-shirts for men and women inspired by the artwork of rock ’n’ roll legend Randy Bachman and a group of “green jeans” for men and women made from certified organic cotton and dyed with natural indigo and vegetable dyes.
