Next spring H&M-owned brand & Other Stories is going to launch a capsule collection with its new partner in crime: LA-based high-end brand Rodarte. In the range you’ll find apparel, accessories and shoes. Little has been unveiled of the collection pieces –just the image below-, though one can think that it will contain at least some of Rodarte’s favorites: fabric contrasts, a clash of fashion decades, lace, sheer and sequins.

"Diversity is a part of our identity. With this strong collaboration with Rodartes we bring an LA-inspired perspective to our assortment that fires inspirations and ideas and encourages all sorts of styles and stories," says Samuel Fernström, managing director of & Other Stories.

Rodarte was founded in 2005 by Kate and Laura Mulleavy. The brand stands for an artistic mixture of high couture, modern femininity, and California influences. Among their highlights are various fashion awards like the CFDA Womenswear Designer of the Year Award in June 2009. Kate and Laura Mulleavy also designed the ballet costumes and other key character costumes for Natalie Portman in the acclaimed film Black Swan.

Besides their seasonal collections, & Other Stories bets strongly on partnerships with creative minds to spark retail. One of the latest was an athleisure capsule whose campaign imagery featured transgender models Valentijn de Hingh and Hari Nef.
