The prestigious Ratti Boutique in Pesaro continues to attract a wide and transversal clientele since 70 years, thanks to its beautiful ancient palazzo location. The store itself is made up of dedicated areas aimed at its different customers’ demands with a multifaceted product offer. To round up the shopping experience, a special app targets customers with push messages, and as another service add-on personal shopping assistants offer support and advice via web to help clients feel at ease – on and offline. What are the current bestsellers and why?
Among our bestselling products there are, for instance, the KTZ backpack, most appreciated for its couture details mixed with ethnic hints. Marcelo Burlon’s t-shirts, are also very successful for their inspirational mix of street style and multicultural references. Among brands, one of most successful is Adidas by Stella McCartney, especially appreciated for its cool-chic ideas.

Do people buy according to their favorite brand, style, or impulse?
Our clients are always very updated and prepared and often arrive in our store with clear ideas in mind and a sound research already made both in terms of brand and products. Our usual clients though trust us and are happy we help them make their choice.

How do you inform yourself about trends?
We get information mostly through newspapers, via web and, especially during the last two years, through social networks and bloggers.

How important is the communication with regular customers? How do you communicate with them?
It is very important. Also in this case, we communicate with them via internet through our official Facebook and Instagram pages through which we always inform them about new trends and new products we are selling in store.

Since the last few weeks we have also launched our own Ratti app that everyone can download via App Store and Android. Through this app we can send customized push messages to clients according to predefined clusters. In addition, our customers can communicate in real time with our sales assistant and get support and information. In a few months they will also be able to purchase products through it.

How do the collections you offer for next spring/summer 2016 look like? And what are the most important trends, in general?
Still cool is the trend that mixes active pieces with less sporty items. Also hot are apparel pieces that remind of underwear. Bold colors and black continue to be cool also for next summer.

Did you add any new labels to your assortment?
Vetements, Marques Almeida and Maison Kitsuné are some of the ones we have just added to our selection.

How does your store differ from other stores?
We are lucky our clients are very transversal and heterogeneous in terms of age, geographic origins and taste. All this is possible because we offer a vast selection of brands that ranges from designer brands to contemporary collections. Moreover, we also offer tailormade menswear and extra size apparel for women.

What do you like about your customers?
Our customers have always shown their preference for us throughout the years. It is not a coincidence that we did a huge celebration for our 70th anniversary a few weeks ago. It was a great success. The whole city – and many insiders of our market - showed all their support and love to us. We celebrated this very special birthday with an exclusive cocktail and a dancing party. For this occasion also Tod’s launched an own men and women’s exclusive capsule collection dedicated to us and important maisons created and decorated special dedicated areas of our store. The celebration led our guests through a path inside our store filled with emotions and memories. We hosted some cool music guests and DJs. Marcelo Burlon also held a special DJ performance in store and designed an exclusive Limited Edition collection of his brand’s t-shirts for celebrating our anniversary.

How important is the interior, the atmosphere and the whole package?
Certainly our boutiques are based in a very special environment, an ancient palace. Such a setting certainly helps us creating the right stage and hype and resonance for the products we offer.
As part of our strategy we always gave great importance to spaces, personalizing some areas through shop-in-shops and redesigning some of the multibrand parts by architect Vincenzo De Cotiis who added some very contemporary flair to our spaces.
