After months of renovation, the go ahead was finally given to tenants to move into the new building of the CentrO Oberhausen on 27th September. The new store for U.S. label True Religion is located on the ground floor of the southern wing of the shopping mall, neighboring shops by Peek & Cloppenburg and G-Star.

True Religion’s 200 m² store in CentrO is the brand’s largest in Europe. The brand offers a strong selection of garments. In addition to denim tops and jackets for him and her, children's styles and shoes are on sale, as well as perfumes and accessories to round out the entire True Religion product range.
The modern interior of the new store is combined with the typical True Religion wood look; concrete elements play a central role, and old bricks meet the unique True Religion "denim bar" of high-quality vintage wood.

During the opening celebration, True Religion received prominent support from the cast of German soap opera "Unter Uns" - Milos Vukovic, Kai Noll, Joy Lee Juanna Abiola Müller, Patrick Müller, Lars Steinhöfel and Marylu, who all wore the latest styles of the True Religion autumn collection. Celebrities including singer Pietro Lombardi, Even Yvonne de Bark (actress/writer), Rebecca Mir (Germany’s Next Top Model), Ty-Rown Vincent (choreographer), Vivien Wulf (actress) and Annabel Varela (BA) also celebrated the opening of the Centro Oberhausen.
DJ Rob Ronckers aka Funkenstein produced the right sounds to fit with the live models who presented the latest trends of True Religion. Hustle Kidz, from the Netherlands, enthralled the guests, received a standing ovation with their breakdance moves.

Managing Director Reinhard Haase was thrilled with the crowd at the opening: "The success of this evening and the first resonances among the guests confirmed our belief that it was the right decision to open another store in a shopping mall."

True Religion Brand Jeans already has five locations in Germany - Dusseldorf, Cologne, Berlin and Hamburg are mono-label stores, in addition to an outlet in Ingolstadt. It was only in July 2012, the first single-brand store was opened in Vienna.
