One such emerging talent, which can be found on the site, is premium label L.2.Mae. Debbie Huntley, Founder, L.2.Mae: "Yourbrandspace is a fantastic initiative which is a huge help to emerging labels like myself. It gives us the opportunity to showcase our collections to potential buyers of whom we may not have known about. The team is always hand to give out tips on marketing & pr from their vast experience and knowledge, and help out at every opportunity to push the brands awareness further. Resources like this are invaluable to a new brand and I am extremely pleased that L.2.Mae gets to be featured within their site and progress our buying relationships further."

All brands on the site have signed up for a minimum twelve months to showcase their collections and gain monthly reporting on their specific brand page, in order to help them make strategic marketing decisions and gain enquires from retailers directly through the site. Buyers from across the globe, such as Galeries Lafayette, The White Bicycle, New Look, Six Whiting Street, Sarah Coggles, Brand Alley and The Dressing Room, are signing on daily. “As a new independent retailer will allow me to source products all year round” says Verity Kirk, Owner of Anything Ordinary Boutique. “It will be great to see new, smaller designers who may not be able to afford to take part in trade shows."

Louisa Valvano, Director at indicated how the first few months have been whirlwind. “Following the launch of in December, we had always believed that the demand existed in the market for an online wholesale platform to fill the buying gap between tradeshows. We didn’t however expect the demand to come so thick and fast from both retailers and brands. We are extremely pleased with how responsive the market has been to the service we offer and are delighted we can fulfil the demand with some strong brands as well as up and coming designers and brands – which is what many of our independent retailers want to see.” was launched in December 2011 by Samantha Bleasby, Former Event Director of Pure London and Louisa Valvano, former Global Marketing Director of WGSN. The site allows retailers to easily search for product by brand, product type, season, price-range and country. Buyers can build collections and create wish lists of products they wish to stock and contact the different brands all in a click of a button. It will help them find new brands to stock ,also allow them to more readily view some of their existing suppliers’ products and will help with both forward order/short order and in-season/stock buying.
