For the Belgian-born designer, the collaboration with Weekday is the first fashion project after a two-year break of the industry. About the upcoming collection, Bruno Pieters, comments: “I work instinctively. For this collection I wanted to create a very elongated and narrow silhouette that would be contrasted with soft and natural materials. I feel strongly connected to architecture, but also to nature as an unpredictable force”.

Apart from Weekday’s own collection MTWTFSS, the chain store also retails Cheap Monday and Weekday Vintage. In spring of 2009, Weekday launched its new concept Weekday Collaboration. So far, these collaborations have included designers such as Carin Wester, Minimarket and Peter Jensen.
