On May 29, French fashion label Sessùn opened its first flagship store outside of France at Berlin’s Schönhauser Straße 44. The 52 sqm shop is divided into two rooms where the brand’s womenswear is presented in a welcoming atmosphere reminiscent of a living room with a mix of white and wooden elements. German-French architect Caspar Muchalek, who also designed the Sessùn shop at Rue de Charonne in Paris, was responsible for the shopfitting and interior concept.

The opening comes as one of the results of Sessùn’s long-term partnership with German agency Philippe Nowotny. Nowotny has been in control of the Marseille-based label’s German and Austrian sales since 2003 and currently takes care of the 80 select stockists and online business within those markets.

Before taking charge of the new flagship store, the sales agency operated the L’éphemère boutique in the same location whose inventory included 90% of Sessùn stock.
