Pringle of Scotland has announced that Creative Director, Clare Waight Keller, has left the company after five years due to her maternity leave. A successor hasn’t been announced yet, but will be named shortly.

“I announce my resignation as Creative Director of Pringle of Scotland with equal measure of sadness, pride and anticipation,” Keller commented. “It is obviously difficult to part from the brand that has been my creative home for the past five years, but I leave incredibly proud of Pringle of Scotland’s growth from a Scottish knitwear company to an international luxury brand. I wish the company every success for the future.”

Her predecessor Mary-Adair Macaire, who joined the company in September 2008, has stepped down from her role on January 31 to pursue other business opportunities.

Moreover, Pringle of Scotland announced the appointment of Benoit Duverger as Managing Director, also effective as of February 2011. Previously, he held the position as Director of Global Communications.
