'Fashionation' concept in Berlin

03 Mar. 2011

Düsseldorf-based Peek&Cloppenburg KG officially launched its new store concept ‘Fashionation’ at its store on Berlin’s Tauentzienstrasse, today, March 3. Located on the second floor on a total sales area of 630sqm, the new concept offers an extraordinary mix of high fashion, avant-garde, and streetwear brands. Amongst the presented labels are, for example, Matthew Williamson, Marc Jacobs, Givenchy, Comme des Garçons Shirt, and Surface to Air. Framed by the landmarked outer façade of Ellington hotel and the 12-meters-high concrete wall on the other side, the new area presents itself with light-flooded modular shop elements made of light wood.

One night before, Berlin’s VIPs, such as actress Jessica Schwarz, actor Clemens Schick, and models Luca Gadjus and Franziska Knuppe, had celebrated the opening after a speech by Dr. Adrian Kiehn, member of the management board.
