LINDEBERG GOES SKIINGJ.Lindeberg has launched a new ski line for men and women and Fredrik Dahl is one of the top designers involved in the technical design of the line. Before working at J.Lindeberg, Dahl was Design Director at The North Face in San Francisco.
The newly relaunched J.Lindeberg Ski collection has admittedly gone through major changes; the look of the collection clearly reflects the brand’s new direction, attention to craftsmanship and sophisticated style.
Says Dahl: “It’s for people who won’t settle for anything less than the best of both. Not only do the fabrics and function live up to, and even exceed, the highest standards in contemporary skiwear, but we’ve combined this technical excellence with the elegant tailoring found in top fashion brands.”
Stefan Engström, CEO, believes that “men and women desire to wear something
more unique in design and more progressive in function compared to what’s
out there right now.”
The collection is expected to drop at retail in August.
The investment firm of Proventus and Engström have been the principal owners of J.Lindeberg since 2007. Proventus was founded in 1980 by Robert
Weil, a privately-held investment company. Johan Lindeberg serves on the
board and acts as an independent creative director based in New York, where he
heads the design agency Paris68, which is also responsible for Justin’s
Timberlake’s William Rast label.
