KSUBI LAUNCHES COLORED DENIM WITH MOVIEAfter some pretty difficult months that saw Australian label Ksubi enter the insolvency procedure of voluntary administration in January of 2010, the company has now been restructured and things are looking quite bright again: "In reaction to a rather dull denim palette of late, Ksubi has chosen to bring back its colored denim that we were renowned for back in 2004," says Paul Wilson, Global Brand Director and co-founder of the brand.

True to Ksubi’s artistic background, a short film directed by Australian director Daniel Askill was produced for the launch of the kolors range, which includes styles in white, blue, orange, green, black, purple, red, plum, aged blue, aged green, aged yellow, aged black and aged pink. Shot next to Sydney’s Kingsford Smith International, kolors is a fume-fuelled, slow-motion battle between three color-clad models and a trio of ‘80s muscle cars.
Although renowned for its innovation and trend creation in denim, Ksubi nowadays also designs contemporary fashion, sunglasses, optical eyewear and footwear. The brand has three stores in Sydney and is sold at around 150 doors in Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Canada, Japan, Hong Kong, China, Indonesia, Korea, the UK, Italy, Denmark, Lebanon and Israel.
