Accessory label Eastpak will launch its next designer collaboration soon. After Raf Simons and Christopher Shannon created collections for Eastpak, the brand now was able to involve designer Kris van Assche. The cool pieces show the sophistication and the unconventional character of van Assche as well as the simplicity of Eastpak. The line was presented during Paris Fashion Week in January and will be available in selected stores starting this August.

The Belgian designer created seven bag styles for which he mixed non-colors like black and grey with natural tones. In addition to the three colors, van Assche used three combinations of materials.

“The bags represent a very conscious mix of sporty chic, classical elegance and, at the other end of the spectrum, a military-related robustness. The use of parachute material, leather and raw canvas further reinforces the cohesion of the collection,” van Assche said.
