DENIM BY PREMIÈRE VISION DEBUTS IN CHINA
For the first time ever, two events organized by Première Vision will take place in Shanghai simultaneously. From October 23-24 both the established Première Vision China and the debut of Denim By Première Vision Asia will be held in the East Dock.
Denim by Premiere Vision, which is dedicated to jeans fabrics, launched five years ago and has since become the must-attend event for the international jeanswear community. May’s edition registered a record 10% growth rate and now its unique concept is about to hit the Asian continent. The new event addresses the premium jeans market in China, Hong Kong and neighboring Asian countries such as Japan, South Korea and Taiwan.
For its first edition, the show will bring together some forty exhibitors including worldwide key players such as Absolute Denim, Artistic Fabrics Mills, Artistic Milliners, Arvind, Bossa, TRC Candiani, Freedom Denim, Golden Win, Isko, JWS, ITV, Montebello, Orta, Realkom, Sartex and Tejidos Royo. Twelve exhibiting countries will be represented: Turkey (24%), Pakistan (15%), Italy (12%), Hong Kong (12%), China (10%), Spain, France, Japan and Thailand (all 5%), and Bangladesh, Tunisia and India (all 2%). The offer will consist of exhibitors from the Paris show joined by a selection of the region’s own companies, all of which meet the show’s criteria and standards and are mostly integrated in garment manufacturing.
To show what premium denim is and to illustrate the specific know-how in terms of materials, washes, finishing and cut choices, a special Denim by Première Vision Asia collection will be created for the event in collaboration with Italian denim experts Umberto Brocchetto and Massimo Munari from Isko's Creative Room (http://www.sportswearnet.com/businessnews/pages/protected/ISKO-PRESENTS-CREATIVE-ROOM_4304.html) and Martelli. The collection will be revealed at the show and to support the understanding of the premium denim market, Massimo Munari will give a seminar titled “Premium Blue Wave” at 11:30 on each day of the show.
Alongside, Première Vision China will offer two days of business exchanges among top textile companies and Chinese fashion professionals where international exhibitors and local agents unveil their latest fashion-fabric creations. The 18th edition, dedicated to the fall/winter 2013/14 season, welcomes 62 exhibitors from 11 countries – France, Italy, Turkey, China, Japan, Spain, South Korea, Bulgaria, India, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
