CHANGE IS GOOD FOR AGENDAA new location and earlier dates paid off for the Agenda Trade Show. Last week, the two-day California show, formerly held in San Diego, took place in a new location, Huntington Beach, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
Showcasing 107 exhibitors – its largest number of brands yet – to 3,500 attendees, the show proved that changing the dates from September to July was a positive move. “The overwhelming response we’ve received from both exhibitors and retailers, and the amount of quality business that took place across the board means we’ve done something right,” said Aaron Levant, president of Agenda.
The six-year old show focuses on the action sports market and features brands and collections within the skate, surf and streetwear sectors.
In addition to its twice yearly shows in California, Agenda holds two editions in Tokyo each year.
