CMLC GmbH, master licensee of the brand Camel Active, announced a global wholesale revenue of €205 million for the 2011 fiscal year.

Germany, the brand’s home market, contributed especially to this success with its 15% increase, confirming once more the leading sales market position of the lifestyle brand’s businesses. Across Europe, the company grew by 12.2%. In Asia, where Camel Active runs 86 stores and 701 shop-in-shops in China, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Taiwan and Indonesia, there was a recorded growth of 14%.

Camel Active CEO Eric Sperber concluded, “We are very satisfied with the global growth of 14%. Our investments in the product, marketing and retail spaces have paid off and were appreciated by our trading partners.”

Camel Active will continue to unfold their potential by upholding the brand’s retail expansion strategy. During the next three years, the company plans to realize 300 retail projects through new openings and shop redesigns. Currently, Camel Active operates 250 stores and 1,535 shop-in-shops in over 50 countries.
